BAE Appreciation Visit to Sinclair
Executives from BAE recently visited Sinclair to show their appreciation for a “job well done”.  They brought cake to share with all of the employees at Sinclair.  This was a way to say "thank you" for the hard work it took to deliver new prototypes on time, despite the delays caused by Hurricane Irene. The people from BAE addressed the assembled employees, saying that it's their motto to "Protect those who protect us", and that Sinclair's employees had now done the same.

Sinclair Expands CNC Machining Dept Capabilities
Sinclair has added two new high-speed Matsuura ES800V-PC2 CNC Machining Centers, which will allow for faster & more accurate production. These machines have 20,000 rpm spindle speeds, twin pallet changers, and have 40-tool magazines. They are capable of changing tools in less than a second, and changing entire pallets in only 11 seconds, for faster production and extremely accurate & repeatable machining.

Sinclair was recognized by Inphi Corp. for Outstanding Quality for 2009-2010.

New Speedfam Thru-Feed Grinder

Sinclair purchased as new Speedfam Thru-Feed Grinder with fluid recirculation system. The new equipment improves height accuracy and flatness requirements without the need for secondary lapping operations. This has resulted in higher quality component processing with improved production times.

New 20 Ton SMC Series Water Chiller

Sinclair has installed a new 20 ton chiller to recirculate non-contact cooling water. This eliminates NCCW discharge and almost eliiminates the use of new water for our process needs. This purchase is part of our Greening Program.

Bulk Compressed Hydrogen Gas Installation

Sinclair has installed a new bulk hydrogen gas supply for furnace atmospheres. This conversion improves purity, reduces furnace downtime during cylinder changes, and improves safety at the plant.

Electrical Service Upgrade

Sinclair has upgraded its electrical service with a new 5000 amp Square D Switch Gear. This will provide higher capacity & more efficient service. The new service establishes electrical capacity for today's & tomorrow's needs.

Sinclair Purchases New Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

Sinclair expanded its capabilities by adding a new TESA-VISIO 300 Coordinate Measuring Machine. The new equipment will assist in the inspection of our machined packages product lines, reducing inspection
times and improving accuracy for Lot Acceptance Testing and First Article Inspections.

Sinclair Purchases Tangent Tool's Production Dies

New Vapor Hone Equipment

Sinclair's hydrohoning equipment has moved into mainstream production. Hydrohoning results in better burr removal and more consistent surface finishes compared to previous dry-abraided processing.

Sinclair Continues CNC Department Expansion

Sinclair has purchased two new FANUC RoboDrills and two new Matsuura Vertical CNC Milling machines. The addition of these machines will bring us to 16 Vertical CNCs to handle our customers' needs for high speed machining of their custom high-reliability packages.
